Types of Slate Roofs We Install
Synthetic Slate
Synthetic slate is lighter than natural slate but has the same curb appeal. With a lifespan of 60 years, this may be the only roof you have to replace in your lifetime. Synthetic slate costs about half as much as natural slate, and has a Class 4 impact resistance and Class A fire ratings. It’s made from a mixture of fiber cement, asphalt, plastic, rubber and steel. We use Davinci Synthetic tiles for our valued customers.
